Gif Booth CT

About Gif Booth CT
Gif Booth CT is a photo booth service based in Pomfret, Connecticut, with a specific twist: instead of traditional prints, guests create animated GIFs that are instantly sharable. It’s a modern take on the wedding photo booth.
The setup is a ring light and screen mounted on a rustic wooden tripod, running a proprietary app. No electricity required, which means it can go anywhere — indoors, outdoors, in a tent, next to the dance floor. That flexibility is useful at outdoor venues where power access varies.
The booth operates as self-service. An attendant handles setup and teardown, but during the event guests create GIFs and selfies on their own. Custom branding and logo overlays are available, so the GIFs can be personalized with the couple’s names, date, or wedding hashtag.
Gif Booth serves Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New England. For couples at Hudson Valley wedding venues in the eastern part of the region, they’re within range. The lightweight, no-power setup makes it practical for venues where a traditional photo booth would be logistically difficult.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Gif Booth need electricity?
No. It runs on battery power and can be set up anywhere — indoors, outdoors, in a tent. No access to outlets required.
How long should I rent a photo booth for a wedding?
Most couples book 3-4 hours, starting at cocktail hour or the beginning of the reception and running through the last hour of dancing. Some booths also work well during cocktail hour as an icebreaker while guests mingle.
What is the difference between a traditional photo booth and a GIF booth?
Traditional photo booths produce printed photo strips. GIF booths and 360 booths create short animated clips or videos that guests can share digitally. GIF booths tend to get more social media engagement, while printed strips serve as physical keepsakes.
Do photo booths come with props and backdrops?
Most photo booth vendors include props and a backdrop in their standard package. Ask about customization options — many offer branded frames, custom backdrops, or themed props that match your wedding style.
