Hudson Valley Hospitality Photographer
Your Space Deserves Better Than an iPhone on a Tripod
You spent years building your restaurant or hotel. You agonized over the lighting, the menu, the linens, the guest experience. And then you handed your marketing to someone’s nephew with an iPhone and a ring light.
I get it. Hiring a hospitality photographer feels expensive. But here’s what I’ve learned after 25 years of visual storytelling and photographing at dozens of Hudson Valley venues: the places that invest in real hotel photography and restaurant video production are the ones that stay booked. The ones relying on user-generated content and stock photos are the ones wondering why their Tuesday nights are empty.
I’m not a “content creator” in the influencer sense. I’m not going to show up with a gimbal and film myself eating your risotto. What I do is produce polished, cinematic photo and video that makes your space look exactly as good as it actually is — website hero videos, social media content, event coverage, and the kind of visual assets that give people a reason to make a reservation.
Based in Newburgh. I’ve been working as a commercial photographer and videographer in the Hudson Valley and Catskills for over two decades. I know the light in these buildings. I know which seasons make your property look its best. And I’m probably already a regular at your bar.
Hotel Video Production: Why Video Is Your Best Marketing Investment
Photos are great. I’ll always shoot photos. But if you can only afford one thing, make it video.
A 60-second hero video on your homepage does more work than 50 static images. It shows the atmosphere, the movement, the energy of your space in a way that hotel photography simply can’t. A guest scrolling your site at 1pm deciding between your restaurant and the one down the road? The place with video wins. Every time.
And that same video gets cut into clips for Instagram Reels, your Google Business Profile, email campaigns, and paid ads. One hospitality video production session generates months of content across every platform you’re on.
This isn’t TikTok content. It’s not shaky handheld footage with trending audio slapped on it. It’s produced, professional video that makes your business look like what it is: a place worth visiting.
Hospitality Photography & Video Services
Website Content
Hero videos, photo galleries, menu photography, room and suite photography, property walkthroughs. Everything you need to make your website do its job.
Restaurant Video Production & Social Media Content
Produced short-form video for Instagram, Facebook, and Google Business Profile. Not iPhone behind-the-scenes — actual produced content with proper lighting, composition, and editing.
Event Coverage
Hosting a wine dinner? A live music series? A seasonal launch? I cover events the same way I cover weddings — documentary-style, unobtrusive, and without disrupting your guests.
Website Design
Already shooting your content? I also build websites. Clean, fast, designed to convert visitors into reservations.
Ongoing Content Partnerships
Some businesses need a one-time shoot. Others need fresh hospitality content creation every month. I offer monthly retainer packages for venues that want consistent, high-quality visual content without the hassle of hiring a full-time team.

How It Works
1. We Talk (15 Minutes)
Quick call or text to figure out what you actually need. I’ll ask about your space, your goals, and your timeline. You’ll know exactly what you’re getting and what it costs before we hang up.
2. I Visit (Free)
For any half-day or full-day booking, I’ll stop by your space beforehand to scout the light, plan the shot list, and figure out the best angles for every room.
3. We Shoot
I show up, I work fast, and I stay out of the way of your staff and guests. Twenty-five years of documentary work means I can capture great images without turning your restaurant into a production set.
4. You Get Your Content
Edited files delivered within one week. Photos ready for web and social. Video cut to your specifications, color graded, and ready to upload.
Hotels & Restaurants in the Hudson Valley and Catskills
I work primarily with small, independent hotels and restaurants in the Hudson Valley and Catskills. If you’re in Newburgh, Kingston, Woodstock, Hudson, Rhinebeck, Millbrook, or anywhere in Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, or Sullivan County — this is my backyard.
I also work with wedding venues that want to market their non-wedding business — corporate events, holiday parties, private dining, boutique hotel accommodations. If your venue has a marketing calendar and needs content to fill it, let’s talk.
