Sarah and Landon's reception at City Winery blended two cultural traditions — a Korean paebaek ceremony with Sarah in a hanbok, and later a Moroccan amaria procession with Sarah carried through the room on a traditional throne. One of the groomsmen played guitar at the reception instead of leaving the music entirely to a DJ, and Landon high-fived Sarah mid-dance at one point, the kind of thing that only reads as a candid moment because nobody would think to stage it. Sarah's mother, seated in her own hanbok, watched most of the night from a table near the dance floor.
