Ariana's grandmother, in her wheelchair, held her hand during getting-ready portraits before the wedding at Red Maple Vineyard got going — one of the quieter moments I make a point of looking for. Sean's father got emotional during the reception toasts, and the bridesmaids had already been through a champagne toast of their own that morning in matching floral pajamas. The cake was tiered white with peach flowers, and by the end of the night the whole tent was singing along on the dance floor.
