Amanda and John — at Red Maple Vineyard.

The garden at Red Maple Vineyard was already full of bluebells and tulips by the time I started shooting Amanda and John's wedding. Amanda's grandmother got an emotional hug in before the ceremony that set the tone for the day — real tears, not the performed kind. One of the bridesmaids carried a Polaroid camera through the wedding party portraits, which gave me something to shoot around instead of just posed lineups. They ended the night with a dip-kiss recessional past the vineyard's wine bottle display, guests cheering them out.
