Taylor's reaction during the first look on the porch at Hasbrouck Stone Ridge is the kind of moment I show up early for — genuine surprise, not a performed one. Adrienne and Taylor got married at the stone farmhouse property with the red shutters that's become one of my favorite backdrops in the Hudson Valley. The weather didn't fully cooperate, so part of their portraits happened under a clear umbrella in the rain, which produced better pictures than sunshine would have. By the time the barn reception got going, string lights were up and the dahlias in Adrienne's bouquet had survived the walk between locations intact.
